Transits are like the current sky weather.
We look at how the current planets in the sky affect your birth chart, how the current sky weather is relating to what you are going through.
We can look at both past and future transits to the natal chart.
This is the main type, or most universal type of astrology.
It may be what people first think of when they think of consulting an astrologer.
This is the most common way to assess a chart, and will be the most familiar to modern astrology.
If you are used to sun sign astrology or watch or read astrological content, most of the time, it will be based on transits.
It is super fun and very accurate.
I use transits with every technique I offer. It is a powerful baseline for astrological insight.

The solar return is a specific technique to look at your year ahead.
It is based on a special chart generated specifically for you. It is captured by the Sun’s return to your natal birth position & marks the first day of “your new year”.
Many people use this as a birthday reading or gift, but it can be done at any time of the year, for your current year, or the next. Many use this as an annual check-in.
It is an amazing way for you to focus your energy and organize for the year ahead.
I recommend combining the solar return reading with another technique, the annual profections technique, for a more detailed & layered reading of the year ahead.

Annual profections offer a unique yearly technique that adopts a "house-based" or thematic approach, unveiling various themes and focal points for the year ahead.
In this method, emphasis is placed on the profected house and its ruling Lord, considering both their natal condition and the transiting influences throughout the year.
The information provided is tailored to each individual year and is particularly insightful.
This technique undergoes a shift annually on your birthday, ensuring its specificity to each passing year.

Decennials, or planetary decades, is another timing technique that allows us to look at our life through decades. Within those ten year periods there are mini periods.
This is such a fun and cool technique that I simply love!
So much helpful and validating insight is gleaned from this method.
A really great feature of this technique is that you don’t need an exact birth time for it to work. So it is great for those whose birthtime is a bit shaky.

This is an option to find an accurate working chart for those who don’t have a birth time or have only a rounded birth time.
We will start with correspondence and consultation to go through the details and see if this is an option for you!
This also may be necessary for those of you whose birth time is at Zero or 29 degrees and changes within 3-5 minutes of your birth.

Introducing the outer planets into consideration in your chart.
Pluto Neptune and Uranus are the “generational” slow moving planets and are commonly used in modern astrology. They are a common question that I get when reading for clients.
