About Elsa
My personal interests span ancient and native cultures, women and femme-centered wisdom, goddess worship, earth activism, and animism. I’m deeply inspired by ritual, permaculture, crystals and minerals, textiles, jewelry, fragrance, sacred travel, and authentic connection.
I love storytelling, skygazing, sitting by fires, and being near water. Sweat lodges and hot springs are especially sacred to me, offering deep renewal and connection.
When I’m not studying astrology, you’ll likely find me on the mat, at the altar, outside, or cherishing time with my beloved niece and nephews.
In addition to my work as a yoga professional and teacher trainer—leading programs based on a curriculum I authored and registered with Yoga Alliance—I’m a trained massage therapist with studies in nutrition and herbalism from multiple traditions. I also offer tarot readings, crystal healing, sound therapy, and henna art. I continue to study Sanskrit, and with support, have been exploring ancient Greek as I work directly with source texts in Hellenistic astrology.
I’m currently studying with Austin Coppock, facilitating a book study group focused on Mathesis by Firmicus Maternus, and participating in a close, detailed study of The Anthology by Vettius Valens.
I look at the planets as beings, with us, respected, alive in all things, alive in your chart, and in the world around us.
They have gifts and messages as they come forward to guide me through bringing you your sacred map.
I practice & design planetary rituals & remediation’s, working with the planets as sacred messengers of the gods.
The birth chart is like a topographical map.
It allows us to see where we are, where we have been and where we are going. It describes the terrain and allows us to be better equipped for our journey and excited to embark, know how far in the trek we have already come, and what’s ahead.
Sometimes we need to hike the mountain to get to the waterfall on the other side.
A desert to cross to reach the ocean’s shore.
It is so helpful to place yourself on the map of your journey, pack for the weather, and prepare for the nature and duration of the adventure.
